Prevost first started in 1978 with the vision of developing an innovative, new style air coupling. The result was the world’s first push button quick disconnect coupling. It was, and still is, easier to use and more durable than conventional sleeve-type air couplings. A few years later Prevost developed the first safety coupling to pass the ISO 4414 safety standard. Through the years, Prevost has incorporated an extensive series of tests that their products must pass prior to being released for production. Today these tests include: connect-disconnect cycle life, burst pressure, vibration, leak testing, and impact. Prevost also conducts comparative tests on the leading competitors’ products to ensure that our products are the most reliable in the industry. Prevost’s continuous research & development, ongoing commitment to quality, and thorough product testing all support the company’s commitment to provide customers with products that:Increase productivity Improve overall safety Reduce energy consumption Today, Prevost offers the most complete range of innovative products for use with compressed air that is available in the industry. Prevost’s product offering includes: hose products (hose reels, spiral assemblies, bulk hose & fittings), OSHA-compliant blowguns, FRLs, push in fittings, and an energy-efficient aluminum piping system for routing compressed air throughout a shop. Prevost also offers other quality products and accessories including water couplings, wash guns, and breathing air couplings.Prevost’s ultimate goal is to help customers create a safer, more productive, (and more profitable) place for their employees to work in.
