Semi coke is made from high grade Jurassic coal and as a new type of carbon material. It can be instead of some metallurgical coke when produce ferroalloys products.
Using semi coke during steel making, blended the semi coke with met coke, which reduced their cost 20% to 30% than using met coke only.
Advantage of semi coke than Met Coke in production of Ferro-alloy smelting as deoxidizer
(1). Semi Coke could improve the quality of the ferro alloy significantly (especially low aluminum alloy Al2O3≤0.1%).
