Hi,First of all thanks a lot for cooperating and understanding our expectations.I think I am now in a position to exactly tell you my requirements:1 - We are going to start an entire baby diaper segment in India that has the following characteristics:-- Topsheet doesnt cause rashes - Currently the diapers of big brands like Pampers and Mamy Poko Pants have diapers whose top sheets are plastic based. These sheets cause rashes to the babies. Indian Moms either use diaper rash cream or switch to cloth diapers to avoid rashes. Hence we plan to bring diapers whose topsheet is made up of Bamboo, if Bamboo is not possible then cotton. Although Bamboo is our first priority-- Biodegradability - We would want our diapers to be as biodegradable as possible. We do not want to use much of non-biodegradable substances like plastic etc.-- Absorption - We wish to have absorption similar to those of corresponding diapers of Pampers or Mamy Poko. If our absorption is worse than theirs, no one would use our diapers-- Pants vs Diapers - We can have NB size as tape diapers while S,M,L,XL and XXL sizes should be pants. The reason for the same is that 90% of the Indian diaper market is pants and not tape diapers-- Pricing - Our target is pricing is really low. We understand that. The reason is that we need to launch at a pricing that is similar to Pampers or a Mamy Poko. We also need to keep a lot of margin for Discounts because that is the norm for the diaper Industry in India. Hence our target pricing is:Proposed pricing XS S M L XL XXLCIF pricing ($)0.036 0.038 0.051 0.065 0.078 0.088If it is not possible to reach to our target pricing, then we suggest the following:-- Let only the top sheet be Bamboo. Change the back sheet to Cotton-- Let both sheets be cotton if Bamboo doesnt fit the pricing-- Play around the absorption materials OR other sheet materials to reduce price-- The absorption has to be at par with Pampers Premium PantsMamaearth is a fast-growing with steep Month-on-Month growth. We are the pioneers in India for beauty and baby products made from Natural ingredients. Diapers are a category that we will be launching soon. Biodegradable Disposable diapers are yet not in India and will hence prove to be the next biggest revenue maker in the Indian baby category.Please work upon our requirements so that we are partners in this big revolution about to happen in India.
