San Rafael Industries, is a company that grows, packs and exports fresh produce from Honduras, Central America to United States and other countries. Our company was born from the necessity to supply quality Oriental Vegetables to a strict market as it is the United States market. We specialize in growing, processing and shipping containers (by ocean freight or pallets by air) of Asian vegetables and fruits and other tropical produce, some of which, but not limited to are: Chinese Eggplant, Chinese Bitter melon, Chinese Okra, Chinese Long Squash(Opo), Fuzzy Squash(Moqua), Thai Eggplant, Thai Okra, Indian Bitter Melon, Indian Eggplant, Chive Flower, Rambutan, Long Bean, Thai Chili, Indian Long Squash, Korean Cucumber, Hami Melon(Chinese), Cheese Pumpkin Fairytale, Calabaza Arjuna, American Okra, Indian Okra, Ginger, Malanga Coco, Yuca Valencia, Snow Pea, Sugar Snap, French Beans, Tindora, Guard Bean, Pineapple, Breadfruit, Habanero Hot Pepper, Cubanelle Pepper, Butternut Squash, Passion Fruit, and more. OUR PROCESSING PLANT & PLANTATIONS The building in which we operate (process and pack) in Honduras was built by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) in conjunction with the Honduras Government so to comply with the strict regulations and requirements applied to the produce that enters into United States. OUR LOCATION: Our processing plant and plantations are strategically located in the heart of Central America in the center of Honduras at only 1 hour and minutes away from the Capital, Tegucigalpa and the Toncontin International Airport. The valley in which we grow is the best area for the production of Oriental and tropical vegetables and fruits in Honduras thanks to its peculiar microclimate that allow us to produce all year round.
