It all began in 2005, where two ambitious men, Mr. Sim Kok Soon and Mr. Tan Bee Lai joined forces to rent a mere 3,500sq.ft, to set up a small factory design to produce and construct bedroom sets. Both men hired six staff to set-up a few production lines made out of four small machineries and began churning out bedroom sets. At this juncture, this humble factory of theirs takes up jobs providing bedroom set parts for bigger factories. Their main function was to assist and support bigger factories production output to keep up with the demand. In 2007, they set up a marketing arm within their small factory to design, construct and sell their own bedroom sets.They started supplying to about thirty (30) retail shops and their business grew.Expanding to 7,000sq.ft of space and adding another machine, they decide to create the brand known until today as ALTO FURNITURE, the bedroom sets solution provider. Adding their manpower strength to twenty (20), they maximized their factory space by creating bigger storage space, more efficient production line and a well oiled marketing arm. By 2008, their business has expanded to East Malaysia and their manpower strength grew to eighty (80) staff.The factory upgraded their machineries that uses the latest technology and began producing their ALTO brand bedroom sets from scratch.They purchase high quality raw materials, they cut to fit their designs, they spray paint their products with high quality paints, they assemble their bedroom sets, they pack their products with high quality packaging and they deliver their finished products themselves. By 2009, their factory grew to 40,000sq.ft.In 2010, they venture into another state-of-the-art machine known as 'hot pressed PVC' unit. Using this machine, they were able to design high quality with 3D effect bedroom sets that set apart the ALTO brand from others. By the year 2013, ALTO is known as the 'LEADER' in the bedroom category and being identified as 'THE BEDROOM SET SPECIALIST'. ALTO is very well known for its 'SIMPLICITY & CONCINNITY' in their design and their quality.In the year 2016, ALTO embarked into International market by participating in the Malaysian International Furniture Fair in Kuala Lumpur for the first time. ALTO managed to export to the following country on their first year which speaks for itself the acceptance of ALTO products example United States of America,Libya,Poland,United Arab Emirates,Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,Qatar,Oman,Vietnam,Myanmar,Indonesia,Brunei,Singapore.In the year 2017, ALTO managed and negotiating to add the following countries to their growing International market.Kingdom of Brhrain,Thailand,Spain,Sri Lanka.In the year 2018,Alto will be aiming at following countries like Cambodia,Laos,Philiphines,Algeria.Today, ALTO brand is supplying high quality bedroom sets at a price where everyone can afford. They accomplished this feat by sheer hard-work and dedicated staff. They managed to train their staff to maximize output, no wastage and pin-point accuracy in all their bedroom set parts.
