AMOTZ RAZ DIAMONDS
A third-generation member of a diamond trading family,Amots Raz joined the diamondindustry in 1994. He apprenticed under the experienced eyes and steady hand of his father in the marking and sale of diamonds. In 2001, he founded A.R.D. In 2009, he was dually appointed to the Diamond Exchange Directorate as Chairman ofthe Computerization and Consumer Committees. Again in 2011, he was re-elected for asecond consecutive term as a member of the Diamond Exchange Directorate. Today he continues to lead A.R.D. as CEO in the manufacturing and sale of diamonds worldwide. The Israeli Diamond Exchange is the largest diamond exchange in the world. The IsraeliDiamond Exchange is a member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB),the World Diamond Council (WDC) which represents the diamond industry in theKimberley Process Forum and the World Jewelry Confederation (CIBJO). The IsraeliDiamond Exchange plays a leading role in these international organizations.
