The founding of Aurora Kunststoffe GmbH was based on the idea of returning technical plastic waste to the cycle in its entirety by means of high-quality recycling. The company offers so-called recompounds, recycled plastic granulate in a quality that corresponds to virgin material. Approx. 17000 tons of compounds per year are produced on 5 production lines.AURORA products are listed by many well-known automobile manufacturers. For this reason, you will find at least one AURORA product in almost every car and truck. In the meantime, in addition to ISO9001, it has received the other certificates ISO14001 and ISO50001, has been audited in accordance with VDA 6.3 and has been approved as a specialist disposal company. AURORA is also a long-standing member of various plastics networks and regularly organises its own events.Within the compounding hall built in 2019 an ultra-modern, air-conditioned development and testing laboratory. Every container produced is tested here for thermal, rheological and mechanical conditions. In the over 100 sqm laboratory, new formulations for the most varied applications of recycled plastics are constantly being developed. With the help of our own injection moulding machine, these can be tested directly for practical application. It is not without reason that AURORA products for the automotive industry are audited according to VDA 6.3. Thanks to constant developments, the products demonstrably achieve qualities at the level of new goods.The unique Aurora-Lean-Logistics operates on its own box concept: boxes installed at the customer and own vehicle fleet. Auroras focus lies on automotive, but serves other segments too (e.g. furniture, construction).
