Biofuel Applied Research and Development, LLC. (BARD) a minority owned organization is exploring the opportunity of biodiesel manufacturing process using raw material (such as soy bean oil) through the established chemical process route. BARD has already developed the biotech route for manufacturing Biodiesel in lab scale, which is being demonstrated in mini biodiesel refinery plant at IIT Kharagpur. This biotechnology process of manufacturing Biodiesel will be introduced to the interested clients commercial plant.BARD is seting up 60,000,000 gallons of biodiesel production plant per annum, which will have 30 employees per shift as direct employment. A plot of 5 to 10 acres will be acquired for setting up the plant in Philadelphia metropolitan area and the raw material will be bought from Pennsylvania.
