When the Company was founded at the beginning of the seventies, it chiefly produced tillers and motormowers for the domestic Italian market but very soon it became one of the most important manufacturing Companies in this field, not only in Italy but also abroad. As a matter of fact it got 70% of its turnover abroad, mainly in Europe, and 30% in Italy.At the beginning of the nineties we started the production of low-powered tillers, that, together with the professional machines, completed the range of small agricultural and gardening equipment including tillers, cultivators, motormowers, leaf collectors, lawn mowers and high grass mowers with different versions and engines. In addition to this we used to produce lawn mowers and small compact garden tractors with 2 and with 4 wheels drive for a long time. In the nineties the Company had two premises, BENASSI S.P.A. and EUROBENASSI, which was a smaller factory that produced only low-powered tillers, about 15,000 pcs. a year since 1997. We BENASSI, on the other hand, produced all the other agricultural and gardening machines of the range, about 22,000 pcs. a year. Both factories were located in San Matteo della Decima, about 30 km. far from Bologna in Italy. We used to sell our products in Italy and to export all over Europe, to Central and Southern America, North Africa and Australia. In fact, we managed to settle important connections with Companies of international renown and over the years we have produced customized machines for very important European and American companies such as Kubota (France), Billy Goat (USA), Solo Kleinmotoren (Germany), Husqvarna (Austria, Switzerland and Germany), Gardena (Germany), Ariens (Norway), Verts Loisirs (France), Leroy Merlin (France and Spain), Boels (Holland), etc. At the moment we are still producing customized machines for some of these esteemed Companies.Now we produce not only tillers, motormowers, cultivators, leaf collectors and high grass mowers as we did at the very beginning but in the last few years we have expanded our production range including also turf cutters, flail mowers, mini transporters and scarifiers.Thanks to a careful knowledge of the market, of its peculiarities and needs such as to the quality and reliability of our products we could get very successful results.The after-sales service is assured by our very efficient spare parts dept. as well as by our technicians and by our professional distributors.Finally, the constant relationship between the commercial and the technical dept. assures modern, innovative and updated versions to our products.
