We produce all year on a daily basis 300 tons of premiun quality fresh carrots.The Agrobastan Vegetable Company has been producing vegetables since the year 2000 in San Luis de la Paz, State of Guanajato (Bajio), Mexico - where the Headquarters and ranches are located. This Mexican Vegetable Company produces several horticultural crops for local and foreign consumers. Agrobastan is the major carrot producer in Mexico, having production, washing(carrots), grading, packing and handling facilities for carrot and onion crops.Agrobastan operates and cultivates over a five hundred hectares ( 1, 200 acres), having mostly drip irrigation, but also some furrow irrigation systems. Only clean and pure water from several deep water wells are utilized; wells in average are 380 meters deep, but water is pumped out at an average of 150 meters deep. The ranches are localized on a semi-desertic region without any close rivers, ponds, lakes, or any other water sources. In addition these ranches are over 50 kilometers far away from any populated areas. The Bajio region has mild and temperate weather conditions the entire year, allowing the production of carrots all year around, and onions (red and white types) most of the year.
