AN INTRODUCTION TO CAMA AVIATION SERVICES Cama Aviation Services is a well known Aviation Company of repute and has been in existence for the last 30 years. We are located at the Juhu Aerodrome and have two Hangars covering an area of 10, 000 square feet. We offer Charter services on these Aircraft, and on a Turbine powered Helicopters. We also operate the Bell 47 Helicopters for agriculture spraying. Our team of Pilots are highly qualified with more than 25, 000 Flying hours each and are licensed to operate all types of Aircraft up to a Boeing 747. We also have our own . approved spare parts BONDED STORES in Category ``F . Our establishment is approved in Category ``C, which permits us to undertake outside customer jobs for aircraft and component over haul. Major overhauls, modifications and refurbishment of aircraft of all sizes are our specialty. Cama Aviation Services has assets by of aircraft, plant & machinery, property, etc. worth approximately USD 10 Million, and is a profit making organization for last 20 years, with an annual average turnover of USD 5 million, we envisage that with the new open Skies policy, we foresee an annual growth rate of 25 %. We are in process of setting up an International All Cargo Airline operating 12 Boeing and Airbus aircraft to all destinations in the world. In 2004, we propose to introduce more fuel-efficient modern equipment, with higher payload capacities, for our long haul flights. We here below give you brief details of the Engineering Services offered by uswe are approved to carry out Aircraft Maintenance and Overhauls, under the following Approvals:-1.AIRCRAFT & ENGINE MAINTENANCE:Approval for overhaul and Maintenance of Airframe and Engines including structural repairs, (open for Aircraft up to 3000 A.U.W., separate endorsement for Multi Engine Aircraft) 2.PROPELLER OVERHAUL SHOP:Approved to overhaul all propellers of Aircraft having A.U.W. of 12, 000 Kgs. (separate endorsement for heavier Aircraft). Our is the only FULLY APPROVED propeller overhaul shop in India. 3.ACCESSORIES OVERHAUL SHOP:Approved to carry out overhaul of components like constant speed units, Governors etc. 4.ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES OVERHAUL SHOP: 5.SHEET METAL & FABRICATION SHOP:Approved to carry out structural repairs and fabrication of items like Control Surface, Fuselage Repairs, including major repairs and modifications. 6.AVIONICS LABORATORY:Approved for the maintenance, overhaul and installation of Radio, Communications, Navigation and Identification Equipment like VHF and communication equipment, ILS, Markers and Distance Measurement Equipment including Radar. We shall endeavor to do our best to satisfy our customers with quality products and quality service. A BRIEF NOTE ON THE FOUNDER & CEO OF CAMA AVIATION SERVICES CAPT.P HIROZE Capt. Cama has been flying from the last 47 years; all his licenses are still current. Apart from the Indian licenses he also holds the American FAA Pilot license. During these 47 years of his flying experience, he has flown 15 different types of aircraft. During his flying career he has logged thousands of flying hours. Apart from flying, he has an in depth knowledge of Aircraft Engineering and this engineering knowledge covers all areas of engineering of aircraft, like Airframe, engines, hydraulic systems, Avionics, Instruments, Electrical systems, etc. His expertise in propellers, accessories and aircraft engines is well known in the Aviation stream . He is duly appointed as a œQuality Control Manager of his firm by the DGCA. He is a graduate in Aviation Sciences from UCLA, USA. During his 47 years of Aviation experience, apart from setting up his own Charter Company, Air Taxi Service, flying schools, has also acted as a consultant in numerous airlines, which have been set up in India, so also abroad. He has also been a consultant in setting up airports and equipping them. Captain P.K. CAMA is one of the only one who have received the President of Indias Medal, for his contribution to Indian Aviation.
