Barton started working in home improvements at the age of fourteen, and did so until his high school graduation. During Mr. Bartons senior year, he enlisted in the U.S. Armys delayed entry program. A month after graduating, Mr. Barton shipped off to the U.S. Armys infantry school in Fort Benning, GA. Mr. Barton was active duty for four years before he was honorably discharged and returned to Maryland with his family. Mr. Barton quickly went back to the construction industry and became the K. Hovnanian Homes warranty divisions supervisor, until his resignation in 2005. C.P.&C., LLC was founded in January of 2013 by Douglas S Barton. However in 2006 Mr. Barton created Daily Chore, LLC a company that conducted janitorial and unit maintenance on commercial and residential properties. This decision was made due to the decline in the economy, and Mr. Barton using his own personal capital for start up cost. Most people would agree that this was probably not the best time to start a business, but Mr. Barton new that if the company could succeed in economically rough times, that it would persevere in the future. Mr. Barton realized that in a down economy certain individuals like landlords, property management companies, and especially real-estate investors would need quality services at the lowest cost. Quality and competitive were only two of the many issues that Mr. Barton set out to solve; another was job completion time. I have seen a lot of jobs that have drained peoples bank accounts do to the service provider taking three weeks to do a three day job! Thats not customer satisfaction, and thats why were here, right To keep our customers satisfied. In 2012 Daily Chore, LLC was still alive and kicking. However, they have went from janitorial and maintenance, to a company that handles Contracting (new construction and remodels), project management for renovations and flips, and consulting for anyone in the reals estate/ construction industries. So in January 2013 Mr. Barton decided to make the company more identifiable and personal. He changed the name and the logo of the company that he started 7 years earlier. It was more identifiable because now the name reflected exactly what we do, and the symbol used for the companies logo is Mr. Barton s family crest. In 2012, Daily Chore LLC was still alive and kicking. However, they have gone from a janitorial and maintenance company, to one that handles contracting (new construction and remodels), project management for renovations, flips, and consulting for any and everyone.WELCOME TO THE FUTURE C.P.& C; LLC is designed to service and build relationships with two types of clients. Our Customer (Investors, business owners, and home owners) whom we consult, and manage projects for, and our Contractors (Carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or similar trades) who we handle customers for, and who we disburse different services and projects to. We are the company that works as a buffer between the two to ensure that both parties project runs smoothly, and freeing our clients up to conduct other business. All of our Trades are licensed and insured (and/or) bonded. Our trades are all under agreement with C.P.& C. to warranty certain services for up to one year. C.P.& C. is also insured and carries a new construction license in the state of Maryland. This information along with the trades are attached to the agreement once one has been met. Our job is to take any unnecessary stress that comes with trying to manage a Renovation or any real estate project. Contracting, Project Management, & Consulting, LLC: Douglas S.
