Mission Statement:The goal of the Empower the Philippines is to is to create and sustain yearly donation drives and to set up self sustaining, eco-friendly and tech-driven business initiatives and projects to employ and empower the less fortunate in two major Filipino cities, Manila and Davao City. The projects would co-ordinated by Filipino locals and city officials along with international volunteers.E.T.P. realizes the importance of donations in sustaining an upstart international charitable projects but it is not enough.Donations create seasonal cycles of dependence and expectations on desperate people with limited resources. Another hard reality of the donation world is that sometimes donations do not always reach their intended recipients. That is what seperates the E.T.P. from the rest our mission is to ensure the effectiveness of its projects by showing the before and after effects of its efforts and by placing long term international volunteers on its two inaugural projects in the Philippines. The main objective of E.T.P is to:- Use strategic donation plans to finance self sustaining and self sufficient business initiatives for disadvantaged peoples in the Philippines. Charitable donations are necessary but what is also necessary is a sense of self empowerment.- Making the most of resources available to enact these self sustaining business initiatives. From recycling, to garbage treatment to alternative fuels made from organic matter, E.T.P. exists to show that self sustaiing business plans can be made by logically making the most of what is available.- Place international volunteers safely on long term humanitarian projects throughout the Philippines.- Create long term social entrepreneurship initiatives and green friendly business opportunities to help Filipinos help themselves, earn for themselves and become part of the global business world as small business owners.- Work with local city, government and NGO officials to realize the goals of E.T.P.- To provide video and document proof of the effectiveness of E.T.P. humanitarian projects and initiatives. Unlike other charities that ask for donations but never follow up on the effectiveness of their work, E.T.P. will prove the effectiveness of its programs with documented proof and the use of long term international volunteers.E.T.P., as a charitable foundation, will be transperent about its operations to better prove the effectiveness of its program. We do not just want people to donate and forget the problem we want donators and grantmakers to see the dedication of this program to succeed, to see the outcome of our project goals derived from donations and to inspire people to donate regularly based on the proven effectiveness of our programs. The Philippines has long been plagued by poverty, and the tragedies of the recent waves of typhoon landings in the country has not not helped matters. The eyes of the world, which seems to notice disasters in other parts of the world more readily, seems to have not noticed more perceptibly the humanitarian crisises magnified in the country due to the recent typhoons landings.Donations are just the first phase of our long term goal we seek to empower Filipinos to be self sustaining self entrepreneurs through our project initiatives. We need your help.Donate to the Empower the Philippines today help us to empower disadvataged Filipinos.Sincerely, Rony Van Weyenberg, E.T.P. - Founder, Operations Coordinator and Webpage Designere.t.p.Empower the PhilippinesEmpowering Filipinos Through Strategic Donations and Self Entrepreneurship.Rony Van WeyenbergFounder, Operations Coordinator & Web Design: Address: Kerkstraat 14, 8660 de Panne, Belgium Phone: +32(0)499.76.85.40Email: Empower the Philippines Business Proposal and PlanExecutive Summary:Empower the Philippines is a soon to be registered business partnership entity in the Philippines.
