Expoteas Ceylon (Pvt.) Ltd. is a leading exporter of all varieties of Pure Ceylon Tea. Established in 1989, the company produces a wide range of the world&#39s most popular beverage in the form of tea bags, packets and in bulk quantities. In addition, we market an assortment of value added specialty teas such as flavored teas, fruit teas and herbal teas packed in very attractive printed aluminum canisters. Since our debut in this sector, Expoteas Ceylon has seen rapid growth to be one of the top ten exporters in the country since year 2005.Among the company&#39s main suppliers is, Expotea&#39s own, Expoteas Plantations. The tea grown at its own plantation in the Low Grown area and processed at its own Galaxy Tea Factory. The plantation and Factory were acquired in 2004 in backward integration for Expoteas Ceylon to extend their supply chain and increase their advantage in a highly competitive market. The company is vibrant and forward looking with an experienced and entrepreneurial leadership guiding dynamic and skillful personnel with up-to-the-minute knowledge of world markets. We take pride in having excellent facilities with modern technology, including our own tea bagging unit and well-equipped tea tasting and grading rooms. Our warehouse and offices are sited on the same premises to give maximum synergy to our operations.Our Plantations were established in 2004. We maintain Leveson Gower Estate a tea garden, which produces one of the finest low-grown teas in Sri Lanka. In addition, we also own the Galaxy Tea Factory, which mainly produces black tea of different grades.The factory lies close to the only rain forest in Sri Lanka, Sinharaja. As a result, we produce high-quality teas that fetch premium prices in the largest tea auction in the world.
