FBPL is registered as a Joint Stock Company and is a member of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce Industry (DCCI) in Bangladesh. The company is comprised of the board of directors and a group of highly qualified scientists, agriculturists, horticulturists and administrative staffs. The companys operations cover three different locations a) Corporate Office in Dhaka b) Production system and laboratory in Gazipur (near Savar, opposite of BKSP and on the highway of the North West region) with a laboratory and office space each comprising of 11000 sqft, and both of which are on a total of 150 decimal land space c) The operational fields are in Bogra in association with the Rural Development Academy (RDA) Ministry of Rural Development & Cooperative Govt. of Bangladesh. In addition to that, FBPL has it field operations in about 60 bighas land in Nilphamari. FBPL mainly works in Nilphamari, Tangail, Natore, Chittagong Hill Tracks and Luxmipur. It also works with 600 contract growers to produce disease free potato with the technical assistance of PRICE & USAID. Ferdous Biotech is marketing their products under the brand name of JAAN.
