INTRODUCTION1.1 GIMPEX LTD. is basically dealing with non-metallic minerals for over three decades with four manufacturing units in different parts of India.1.2 It is a multi-product company and a Govt. of India recognized Export House with wide ranging activities from mines to market.1.3 GIMPEX has a strong mineral background with lots of product line which includes Bentonite, Barytes, Feldspar, Quartz, Silica Sand, Ball clay, China Clay, Talc etc., etc. It is directly involved in mining of Bentonite, Barytes, Feldspar, Quartz using heavy machinery and equipments for mining and material handling.1.4 GIMPEX Bentonite Mines are situated in Western part of India, State-Gujarat, Dist-Kutch.For mining activities GIMPEX operates Heavy Duty Excavators, Pay loader, Tractors-Trailers etc. Current production level is 3, 50, 000 tons / year.1.5 After mining, impurities sorting and processing GIMPEX pulverised the Bentonite Lumps either in Roller Mill or in Hammer Mill to get the required mesh size under direct supervision of GIMPEX technical personnel.1.6 As a commitment to quality GIMPEX has its own house testing facilities for Quality Control with Regional Lab at its different operation and Central Lab at Chennai.1.7 GIMPEX has its full fledged shipping division with world wide connections with Owners, Agents, and Brokers etc. Presently GIMPEX annually shipping 3, 00, 000 - 3, 50, 000 MTS of mineral cargoes by chartered vessel.
