Global Consulting, a division of Global Medical Services, was formed in 2005 as the industry grew and the realities, and threats, of living in the 21st century evolved. The division clearly filled a void in the emerging field of risk management and emergency preparedness services, and since inception, Global Consulting has successfully completed various high-profile projects involving pandemic influenza planning, threat and risk assessments, and chemical/biological/radiological/nuclear/explosives (CBRNE) preparedness.Global Medical Services (GMS) was founded in 1998 as a health care consulting and cardiac care training firm. GMS has overseen the training and certification of over four thousand lay rescuers in the use of AEDs, and over three thousand medical professionals in our Advanced Training Programs.
