In June of 2006, GoldStar Charcoal purchased an existing charcoal production facility located in the Ozark hills of south central Missouri. GoldStar Charcoal is a 12-kiln production facility that utilizes Missouri hardwood (oak & hickory) in its pyrolosis process. In January of 2007, GoldStar Charcoal anticipates the completion of its warehouse and bagging facility. With this enhancement of capability and service, GoldStar will position itself to better fulfill the packaging requirements of its clientele by offering a custom Private-Label bagging component to selected distributors. Through this enhancement of deliverable services, GoldStar Charcoal can meet the bulk or bagged charcoal needs within the residential, commercial or industrial sector.Further GoldStar process enhancements include the development and utilization of multible value-added products and by-products which are directly associated with the production of charcoal.
