A hand ploughing machine is the most important agricultural tool in history, used to turn and reclaim soil, bury crop residues and help control weeds. This is a special type of equipment in the agricultural field which contributes to loosening and turning the soil before planting or sowing. Cows and horses are used to gather grass, but in non-traditional farms, it is pulled by tractors. Loggers can have wooden, metal, or steel frames and have blades to loosen and cut the soil. The primary purpose of using the machine is to activate the surface soil so that the nutrients can come up the burial ground and eliminate the process of decaying crops. The blade of the hand ploughing machine is made of steel frame, which is effective in cutting and loosening the soil. This is the process of loosening or turning the soil before sowing. It deliberately removes horizontal cuts from the floor. It loosens the soil and helps air and water to pass through it easily. It allows the roots to penetrate the soil so that it breathes better because air enters the soil more easily. The hand ploughing machine allows the growth of microbes and earthworms.

Disc plough, mould board plough, soil stirring plough, tool frames/carriers with mouldboard plough or tillage sweeps, ridger plough, etc. are some of the improved tools that are used in ploughing in order to break the soil. These tools are highly efficient in breaking the soil and inverting the furrow slices to control weeds and more.
The penetration in shallow ploughing is almost 14.-28 cm as compared to the deep ploughing. When mechanical soil loading intensity increases, the bulk density increases while air capacity reduces to 10-15 cm soil layer. Hence, it doesn’t affect penetration resistance.
