Hebei Shuangxing Seed Industry Co., Ltd.Established in 1984, it's predecessor is Shijiazhuang Shuangxing Watermelon Institute. Shuangxing is our brand. It means two stars. The first Chairman Mr. Dang Fengxin and his brother Dang Shengyi have good techniques in melon growing. They also help other local farmers in growing. They are first person who created and promoted film tunnel technique in melon growing. People in the local called them two stars as respective. Mr Dang Fengxin learned breeding by himself in 1980s. In 1984, private companies were allowed by the government. Then Mr Dang Fengxin and his brother created Shijiazhuang Shuangxing(two stars) Watermelon Institute. It is the first batch private enterprise in China. In 1991, the company name was changed to Hebei Shuangxing Seed Industry. In 1994, the current general manager charged the company. And we started modern management and breeding. We started sunflower, squash and other vegetable seed breeding then.
