KANAT SNCE 1958It has been more than 50 years since KANAT was founded.However its passion for Dried Apricots & Apricot Kernels continuous new product developments, care taken in high quality productions by using State-of-Art Equipments, will never finish.In 1958, Mr adil KANAT, the founder of the company, started trading of Dried Fruits & early 1970s, together with the decision to start exporting Dried Apricots, established one of the oldest Dried Apricot FActories in Malatya, right in the centre of the Turkish Apricots Growing area.Decision to start Apricot Kernels Processing is taken in early first modern APRCOT KERNELS CRACKNG FACTORY was built at that times, which is now equipped with today s tecnologic Optical Sorters, Colour Sorters and Metal Detectors.A lot happened in 2000 sKanat has established APRICOT KERNELS BLANCHING FACTORY in factory which is the only totally dedicated Apricot Kernels Blanching Factory in has established full traceability on its final product by sourching from farmers and cracking its own raw material at its sister factory on the same is equipped with the latest State of-the-Art is also fully accredited and approved by European Marzipan an Biscuit Industries and already supplying to major food manufacturers in Europe and the United States.HACCP projects were developed in 2005 and the factory is ISO 22000 accredited.Established its own extensive Quality Control Laboratory, where Aflotoxin test are carried out by HLPC.Kanat also establishedthe NEW DRIED APRICOTS FACTORY in late 2010.Considering the increasing standarts of good manufactoring practises, the factory established in accordance with Europan Standarts, equipped with the latest tecnology of Apricot Processing and Dicing Machines which are all stainless modern processing line is finished with X Ray and packaging machines.Today, Kanat s factories cover 7500m2 closed area on a total of 15500m2.All things considering over 50 years Kanat has never passion of producing Top Quality Products will continue forever.
