Kar Mining was established in 1985 by Kar Mining Ltd. Executive Chairman Mr Mehmet Ali Karaoz, an Istanbul Techical University graduated Mining Engineer. Since then, Kar Mining is dealing with the minerals in the south west of Turkey (Mugla Region). Production is the most important variable in modern economy and Kar Mining is on the production side of the balance to add values in economy.To able to keep up with the market demands and rough competition in market, research and development plays a very important role. Kar Mining consistently maintains an active field presence through a dedicated and experienced exploration team. Developing new mineral deposits and operating present deposits with the highest environmental concerns is our main approach in R&D.Kar Mining has a wide experience in operating coal mines, feldspar mines, white marble quarries, iron and manganese ores. Today The Company is still operating manganese ores and white marble quarries/factories within the mining properties which are 100% owned by Kar Mining.
