Kernel sistemi design, produces and trades photovoltaic devices for megawatt solar plants since 2009. The company is based in Italy and each manufacturing step is made within the company. In particular Kernel produces photovoltaic string monitoring units with shunt or hall sensors technology, different products for monitoring new PV plants or for retrofit of PV plants. All Kernel string monitoring units have big accuracy and very low drift in temperature. With Kernel SMU is possible transmit data in RS485 serial, optical fiber or wireless. Available models from 4 to 32 channels of measurement current from 15 Amps to 45 Amps for each channel.Over then 9 Gigawatt at the 31th of December 2018 are now monitored worldwide with Kernel PV string monitoring units without any problems and with very good performance.
