The founder of Knichel Logistics, William Knichel, began working in the railroad transportation industry in 1974. In 1986, he entered the third party IMC business. Knichel Logistics was formed in the spring of 2003 after operating for years as an independent agent for a national carrier. In January of 2007, Williams daughter Kristy took over the family business as the new President of Knichel Logistics. Since our inception, we have carved out a niche in the transportation industry as one of the more reliable and valuable logistics providers.
