La Pigeade EARL

Founded in the 1960s by Claude and Nicole Vaute, La Pigeade is originally a vineyard developed from 3 hectors to over 30 hectors of land that mostly grows muscat grapes. In 1996, their son Thierry and his wife Marina were decided to take over management of the vineyard and develop their own winery. Our wine exemplifies a light, fresh, vibrant Muscat, brimming with exotic fruits (papaya, peach, mandarin orange) as opposed to the traditional sticky, raisined, oxidised style. Thierry and Marina Vaute began making Muscat like this from the very beginning in 1996. As soon as the winery La Pigeade has been set up, it expanded to include different appellations such as Cotes du Rhone, Ventoux and Vacqueyras. Our creative efforts have been paid off with medals awarded in the important wine competitions. - Concours Generale Agricole de Paris - Concours des Vins a Orange - Concours Vignerons Independants - Decanter World Wine Awards The brand La Pigeade has been rapidly growing public demand, despite the local outrage at such a scandalous break with tradition. La Pigeade never stops developing and expanding. In 2012, la Pigeade began to work with the other producers to offer three more appellations of wine. Based on their great experience of vineyards and winemaking, a long relationship with the winemakers, La Pigeade can guarantee his selection of wines is in a great quality control.
