With its headquarters in Xinxiang, Henan, Huanyu Power Source Co. Ltd. began its main business of R¼†D, manufacturing and distribution of secondary batteries in 1982. Huanyu is one of the biggest secondary battery manufacturers and the leader of the battery. We have the biggest sintered Ni-based battery production line and advanced roboticized Li-battery production line. We are also the €œHenan new secondary battery project research center€ owned Postdoctoral research station. We have more than 8, 000 employees, among them 400 who are dedicated to research.We attained our certification for ISO9001:2000 in 2001, and certification for ISO14001 in 2002. We also have certification for UL and CE. In 1998 we received our license from the Henan Provincial Government as a major industrial base for the production of Nickel Hydrogen batteries and in that same year we were certified by the Science and Technology Commission of Henan province as a Hi-Tech enterprise. In 1999 our Lithium ion battery was approved by the National Torch Centre as a state-level Torch Project and at the same time we were licensed as a major state-level hi-tech enterprise in the Torch Plan. Huanyu has established a hi-tech industrial park engaged in 4 series of battery production¼ˆnamely Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Hydrogen, Lithium ion and Lead Acid batteries¼‰in more than 100 models with a daily capacity in excess of 2 million secondary batteries in various models. The industrial park is the largest production base of the secondary batteries with the widest range of models in China. Our products are widely used in mobile phones, electric tools, cordless phones, electric toys, emergency lights, notebook computers, UPS and electric and telecommunications fields.We began develop powered Li-ion battery and related material€”LiFePO4 in 2005, and in the later half of the year we finished our product line of lithium ion phosphate, and began the mass production of LiFePO4 material and LiFePO4 battery. At present our LiFePO4 batteries include columnar and quadrate LiFePO4 powered battery for electric tools, LiFePO4 Li-ion battery for miner€™s lamp, soft packed quadrate powered Li-ion battery and plastic crust powered Li-ion battery. Especially the LiPO4 batteries 200mAh for electric vehicles have received authorization from domestic and international customers and been used in mass.We have set up marketing centers in Shenzhen and Shanghai and established branches in 12 foreign countries, as well as America, Europe and Africa, this has given us a world wide distribution and service network that provides our customers with more convenient technical and business support.Established in 2002, Henan Huanyu Power Source Co., Ltd Li-Ion Battery Industry R&D Center consists of over 100 professional technicians, of whom 4 are doctors and ten are masters in their respective fields. In 2006 our postdoctoral work station was set up. With a huge investments of over RMB20 million, our company has introduced many advanced equipments and instruments including Electrochemical working station SEM/EDX, XRD, GC/MSICP, TG/DSC, LPS BET, battery tester and so on, which have greatly boosted up our abilities. At the same time, close partnerships have been set up with a list of famous universities and graduate schools including Peking University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry under Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Physics under Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc to heighten our R¼†D abilities for our lasting development into the future to provide strong technical support for our customers.
