Established 1956, Lion Pencil Co., Ltd. is the oldest and a leading stationery and art material manufacturer in Taiwan area. As part of the post WWII Taiwan economic legend, we have been dedicated to the sale and development of writing instruments (pencils, color pencils, sign pens, permanent markers, drawing pens, paint markers, white board markers, highlighters, CD pens, scrap booking pens and school and office pens), art products (wax crayons, oil pastels, watercolors, acrylic paints, professional pastels and graphic pencils), and fancy stationery (character markers and assorted art sets) for more than four decades. It should be worth noting that Lion Pencil is the inventor of "art set", bringing the idea of "compact and complete stationery solutions" to the world. Now art set is a multi-billion dollar stationery business in the world. Lion's has capacity in R&D and artistic design with innovative ideas. Every year, Lion launches dozens of new products to the market. With our strong team of experienced mangers and researchers plus a fully computerized design team, we are capable of using almost all art design and industrial CAD software in MAC and Windows environments. Lion Pencil has been ISO9002 certificated since 1997. In 2002, we upgraded to ISO9001:2000, and then, in 2009, ISO 9001:2008 (the newest version). Besides, we have AP certificates for all stationery products. We also have passed ASTM D-4236 & F963 and EN 71 Part 1, 2, 3, & 9 certifications.
