The founder Zengoro began cultivating tea in the town of Mikuniminato, facing the Sea of Japan in 1929.Mikuniminato prospered in the shipping business of Kitamaesen during the Edo period. It deepened exchanges with foreign countries during the Meiji era, and had a bustling exchange of foreign cultures.In a culture full of such liveliness and intellectual curiosity, Sangokuya Zengoro also shifted with the times from a tea farm to a specialty tea shop that handles a wide range of tea from around the world.
