It is especially fully well established for hand crochet along with any other hand related works. It is controlling by our head office with a strong and efficient dept. It has minimum 100 stands by workers and they are doing their works in this shade. We do not allow any work out side of this premise. Panache Knitted Creations Ltd. And Panache International Ltd. are two sister companies set up around fourteen years ago with the distinct objective of providing a One Stop Service to its customers for meeting their full range of true knitwear needs. We therefore pride ourselves in being true knitwear specialists with a truly global vision. Panache International Ltd. Is a sourcing and marketing office based in Dhaka City, Bangladesh. Our in house audit team is continually involved in reviewing a number of new factories in order to strengthen and broaden our supply base. Panache Knitted Creations Ltd., on the other hand has been set up as a model manufacturing concern not only with regard to the quality and production systems which it has in place but also with regard to the housekeeping ad labor practices the company adheres to, including above all else, a stringent commitment to a Child Labor Free work environment and an environment which is safe for all its workers and staff. Merchandising TeamAll yarn, accessory and factory sourcing is conducted by our reliable merchandising team. Members of the team are responsible for monitoring all orders throughout every stage of the critical path. Design TeamOur product design and development teams are continually completing research on new fabrics and yarns to ensure the best value of money for our customers, as well as guaranteeing the highest of quality. All samples are checked thoroughly by our head designer before being dispatched to the buyer. Quality Assurance Team Our quality assurance teams are responsible for monitoring and controlling the work in our associate factories as well as our own. QCs compile daily reports highlighting any variance in quality so that the relevant sectors can be informed of any potential faults, which then can be rectified. Quality checks are completed during every stage of the production process. MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS OF PSC: We manufacture true hand made full / semi crochet products using skilled labor force. The process starts from yarns received in hank or cone form and includes knitting linking, metal detection, and finally packaging. TYPES OF PRODUCT: We are producing items with hand embroidery & crochet. MAIN YARNS USED: 100% Acrylic, 100% Cotton, Acrylic/Wool, and different types of blended yarns, including Stretch yarns and Melange yarns.We have also a lot of suppliers in Taiwan and China for fancy yarn. PROPORTION OF BUSINESS IN DIFFERENT YARN TYPE: As per buyers requirement.MAJOR CUSTOMERS: M & S, George/Asda(UK), Tesco(UK), Adams Childrens wear(UK), TU/Sainsbury(UK), BHS(UK), Debenhams(UK), Burtons(UK), Next (UK), Dorothy Perkins (UK), New Look( UK), Mackays(UK), Dunnes(UK), Bonmarche, Woolworths, Dunns etc. SIZE & NO. OF FACTORIES: PSC is located in one site, and we have covered factory space of approximately, 3856 SFT including 2800 SFT production floor. BUILDING TYPE: PSC consists of a single storied Tin Shed with the warehouse adjacent to the production floor. PRODUCTION CAPACITY: Approximately 1500 pcs per month. NO OF EMPLOYEES: Direct production staff: 100; Office Staff: 12.HOURS OF WORK: 60 hrs per week, which includes 8hrs per day plus 2 hrs overtime, 6 days a week. LOCATION: PSC is located approx. 2 hrs from the main Airport and approx. 1 hr from Hotel Sonargaon. Our associates factories are also all located near the Airport.LABOUR FORCE: All workers working for us are above the age of 18, and we are following the Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 and amendments made on this law. All our workers give written declarations regarding their age and In addition the age of workers in the doubtful category are verified by the Civil Surgeons Office of Bangladesh, as per Labour Law. All our workers have clean space with drinking water facilities for taking their food during lunch time. Health and safety is a major concern for our company, and conscious efforts are taken in order to ensure that all electric lines and equipment are safe. Protective gloves and masks are given to workers who are at a risk with regard to washing chemicals and yarn fluff respectively. Our factories have fire evacuation plans and regular fire drills are carried out and timed. Smoke detectors are in place in the different Production Sheds and in Office, and the required numbers of fire extinguishers are in place in the factory. Fire alarm bells are installed in different parts of the factory and the bells are regularly checked. Its our policy to keep Fire Exits open even when there is one member of the staff in the building.LEADTIME: The lead-time from receiving L/C to hand crochet delivery using local yarn ranges from 30 to 60 days. The lead-time using imported yarn ranges from 60 to 90 daysPART B: Raw Materials 1. SOURCE OF YARN: Local & Foreign (as per buyers requirement). 2. SOURCE OF TRIMS: Local & Foreign (as per buyers requirement).3. YARN/TRIM/FINISHED GOODS STORAGE: All our yarns are stored on wooden palettes in the yarn warehouse. All Trims are stored in cartons and shelves in a separate store. There is a conscious policy of keeping all goods off the floor. All work in progress and finished goods are kept either in cartoon or in sealed poly bags. There is a conscious policy of all works off the floor in the factory to keep the floor metal free. 4. INSPECTIONS: At least 10 percent of all yarn received at our warehouse is inspected for color, handful and smell. Written records of faults are kept. At least 20 per cent of all trims are inspected for material quality and specification. If major faults are above 5% then the delivery will not be accepted. 5. METAL DETECTOR : The Company has a Lock Needle Check machine for metal detection. All garments after poly are metal detected and all contamination record is preserved for at least one year. All garments which pass metal detection are put in a carton and a Metal Checked seal is put on the carton.
