PJ Margo Pvt. Ltd. is the pioneer and the largest processor of Neem Seeds for the manufacture of Azadirachtin - a bio-pesticide active ingredient extracted from Neem seeds, Neem Oil and their formulations.The Neem tree ( Azadirachta Indica ) provides a range of products from its seeds, twigs, leaves and bark to give benefits ranging from antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, dermatological, dental and other various organic uses. The usage of these was limited by house hold system of extraction and purification.The promoters of PJ Margo Pvt. Ltd., the Jaipuria family are the pioneers in the procurement and processing of Neem in India. They have been in the Neem processing business since 1976. In the year 1993 they promoted PJ Margo (P) Ltd. and set up the Worlds 1st commercial manufacturing unit to produce Azadirachtin from Neem Seeds as a Joint Venture with WR Grace & Co. of USA. CERTIS USA, LLC are the current JV partners with the Jaipurias in PJ Margo (P) Ltd.Margo Biocontrols Pvt. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of PJ Margo, and was set up in 1996, to market and distribute its Neem based formulations in India. Subsequently, Margo Biocontrols also set up manufacturing facilities to provide its customers a range of Microbial products, to meet their crop protection needs and Humic and Fulvic Acid based products for the Growth stimulation for crops across the board.Microbial products are soil conditioners that enhance biodiversity in soil by introducing large numbers of probiotic bacteria - promoting the growth of a variety of beneficial microorganisms. Humic and Fulvic Acids - Humic and Fulvic substances are formed from the biological and chemical degradation of organic material by micro-organisms resulting in Humic / Fulvic Acids and Humins. These Humic substances differ in molecular weight, solubility in water under varying pH conditions, and the functions they perform in the formation and health of plants. Humic and Fulvic Acids play a major role to Chelate non-organic metallic minerals in the soil into organic mineral salts. The Polysaccharides (complex carbohydrate sugars), an integral part of the Humic Acid molecule, serve in the formation and retaining the nutrition of plant tissues.
