1973 was the year of Pomilia's birth: two brothers, Gerardo and Antonio Salzano founded what would become much more than a family business. The first plant, of 10,000 square meters, produces Peeled Tomatoes, Legumes, Vegetables, Fruit and Canned Mushrooms (Italian).In 1977 new products were added: the Mediterranean Cherry Tomatoes and the Tomato Pulp. In 1978 the range of the red line is completed with the production of the Tomato Sauce.In 2007 with the acquisition of Galmond, the production plant reaches the current size of 37,000 square meters. These are the years in which Pomilia starts marketing the Seed Oils (Peanut, Sunflower, Corn and Soybean Seed Oil) with the Ole' brand and, finally, in 2008 completes the range with Extra Virgin Olive Oil.Today the company's founders are the children of the founders who renew their commitment 40 years ago: bringing high quality products to the table of consumers.
