Mposakhalitsa Investment is a Malawian owned business headed by a seasoned businessman with Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and is made up of mainly four divisions: Operations – this division is responsible for planning and managing all logistics from acquisition of farm inputs, labour, harvesting, storage, supply and delivery of produce. This division also ensures there is adherence to quality of inputs and produce all the time. Finance – The division is responsible for keeping of company's financial registers that enables the company in making sound business decisions. It helps the company understand its financial position and provide alternative avenues that our company may follow to secure funds for financing our projects. The major source of funding for our company have been: bank credit/loan and private lender debt. The division is headed by a Finance Manager with an MBA in finance management. Product Research and Development – This division is responsible for the development of methods for enhancing productivity of crops in the farms and offer advisory services to smallholder farmers who are ready to sell their crops to Mposakhalitsa Investment. Ensuring crops are cultivated using modern methods that are environmental friendly and produce is safe for human consumption is one of our desired outcomes. Quality assurance has enabled our prolonged existence on the market and shall continue to be so. The division weighs the options on technical possibilities and comes up with appropriate approaches that maximise crop production. It collaborates with the rest of the divisions in identifying client needs and potential new products for upcoming market opportunities. The company has two agriculturalists specialized in irrigation technology who manages the division. The division strives to promote both locally approved and profitable cultivation methods as well as the modern researched and approved in the country. It also responsible for improvement and enhancement of existing products that come from suppliers inorder to meet customer expectations effectively. Sales & Marketing – is responsible for developing overall sales and marketing strategy. The division promotes our products in line with the company’s goals and objectives. This entails identifying target customers, developing a platforms for building our image for the products and selecting marketing tools and setting long and short-term goals. The division is run by a Logistics manager with a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics
