Properties and Applications
1、The formation of moist microenvironment after absorbing wound exudates can promote wound healing. The hydrogels formed in situ have the ability of oxygen permeability and bacteria resistance.
2、The release of calcium ions can accelerate haemostasis. No wound adhesions which can avoid secondary damage on the wound. Its gel blocking feature can prevent the lateral diffusion of wound exudates.
3、It has excellent biocompatibility that non-toxic to humans.It has excellent biodegradability, without causing pollution to the environment.
4、The range of adaptation is widely.(1) Wounds which are difficult to heal, such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, etc.（2）Medium and heavily exuding wounds, such as cavity wounds, skin graft donor sites, traumatic wounds and other wounds which are difficult to heal.（3）Injured and bleeding wounds: such as operation incision, bleeding wounds following anal fistula operation, tooth extraction, nasal operation, etc.（4）Other wounds: such as abrasions and lacerations of skin, epidermis burn and local burn, etc.
