Expanded PTFE sealant tape is a spooled Joint Sealant Tape made of 100% virgin PTFE material with micro-fibrillated internal structure for excellent stability. PTFE is resistant to all chemical products and solvents with the exception of alkaline materials. It has good resistance to elevated pressures and has a high thermal stability. expanded PTFE tape is odourless and tasteless making it suitable for food application. Upon compression, it forms a thin, hard ribbon that fills in surface irregularities and creates an extremely tight seal. It is capable of withstanding a wider range of pressures, temperatures and chemical environments than any other soft gasket.
