H Beam

H-beam, also known as I-beam, is an economical profile with optimized cross-sectional area distribution and a reasonable strength-to-weight ratio. It gets its name from its cross-sectional shape that closely resembles the letter "H". Both inner edges of the H-beam's flanges are straight without any slope, facilitating welding and splicing while effectively improving project quality and the safety of building structures.

The specification of H-beams is usually expressed in the form of height (h) × width (b) × web thickness (d) × flange thickness (f). For example, H100×100×6×8 indicates that the H-beam has a height of 100mm, a width of 100mm, a web thickness of 6mm, and a flange thickness of 8mm.
