Roll Forged Steel Grinding Balls Details
Roll-forging process in Hadid Steel Co.
The steel balls are manufactured through a combination of rolling and forging, via the heavy
(40 tons) rolls. Such a combined process via heavy rolls not only results in favorable
spheroidal shape of the balls but also improves the mechanical properties and the wear
resistance of the products.
The monitoring of the input materials, unique heat treatment technology, and the accurate
quality and heating regime controls provide the steel balls with standard hardness. We produce
the steel balls in a variety of size and the most ideal metallographic structure.
The wear-resistant roll-forged steel balls are currently used in many of the milling media,
including:
