ACIN is an acronym of Association of Cottage Industrialists of Nigeria, a group of Manufacturer, Farmer and a registered Trade Union Congress with Federal Ministry of Labour & Productivity. This Association was fully registered on 7th August, 2015 by the Trustees under the perpetual Succession Act Cap 99 of the Allied Maters at Corporate Affairs Commissions of Nigeria with the National Headquarters in Abuja while regional offices are in the Six geo- political zonal area office(State Correspondence) in each state of the federation and FCT. ACIN has emerged a major player in the area of Mini, Small, Micro Scale Farmers, Animal husbandry, value chain Agriculture, commodities and manufacturing to redeem the lost image, making them an Informal Sector. Our efforts is geared towards achieving exportation of products, franchising of products, and financial inclusion with the aims of improving on locally made products, uniting independent Mini, Small, Micro Scale Farmers, & Manufacturer under a common umbrella of building credibility, promoting, developing and transforming them to a nationwide formal Sector with a special focus on the rural manufacturing & farming sector. Our Members in rural and geo graphical zones, are leveraging on their proximity to locally made products to build own cottage industry. PHILOSOPHY. To teach people how to fish instead of giving fish, this has led us to the development of a network of Mini, Small, Micro Scale Farmers, & Manufacturer. NACIN network has become functionally, effective, economically independent as a major player in the Mini, Small, Micro Scale Farmers, & Manufacturer with a specific focus on the transformation of the informal Sector to formal. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES. 1. To create a socio-industrial economic system that will promote locally made products with the aim of improving the economy. 2. To modernize cottage industries and transform the rural lives 3. To serve as innovator and pace setter in the production practices. 4. To serve as a training ground for democracy and economic development. 5. To improve the competitive position of small-scale producers. 6. To build an Industrial market trade centre in each (State)Area organize trade fair as a window for marketing products and as outlet for members. 7. To assist in exportation of members products in between the African countries through free trade Programme. 8. To cooporate with Federal, State and Local Government in all areas in generating revenue to the Government and the Association. 9. To look into the challenges that is associated with the Members industries and so as to proffer solutions. 10. To enable and enlarge the members work towards the progress of the association. To improve and promote locally made products for home consumption and exportation. 2. To improve the capabilities of members' for the purpose of achieving sustainable development and profitable production without threat to lives and property with efficiency. As the name implies , we already developed a new project for the association THEME: National Cottage Industrialization Development Programme, with the aim of establishing the association in all the states and across the local government areas, which consists of 800 industries. This will create more job opportunities for millions of people across the states of Nigeria and drastically reduce poverty, kidnapping, child trafficking, prostitution, robbery, thuggery, and its vices. We organize Industrial Technology & Agro -Allied Training, with Eight days Theory & practical demonstration as Entrepreneurial Skills to make our participants economically self reliance. ii. Participants will have access to start-up capital with (9% ) Nine Present Single digit loan for one year from our Microfinance Institute (Cottage Industries Microfinance Institute). iii. Participants will have opportunity to participate in the quarterly Trade show which will be organised for them in each state as National Trade Show rotationally. iv.
