Product Description

MJ-EP77 is a highly efficient and stable foaming agent, commonly used in water borne polyurethane resins and water borne synthetic leather, to soften the artificial leather or polyurethane coating after curing.

Product Characteristics

Ø Fast foaming speed with high efficiency, can reach as low as 200 g/ L foam density (about five times the foaming rate);

Ø Fine, smooth and even foam with high stability;

Ø It can withstand more stringent process conditions, especially in higher drying temperature, to make applied products not prone to cracking or produce other surface defects;

Ø Adapted to a wide range of pH and salinity, and is not affected by water hardness;

Ø Compared with other commercially available ionic foaming agent, MJ-EP77  has a higher molecular weight and significantly reduces the probability of migration in the finished product.

Product Application

The recommended dosage of the product is 2-8% (per 100 parts PUD), but it depends on the type of water borne resin and customer’s specific formulation.

It is recommended to add MJ-EP77 before mechanical foaming, which has a certain thickening effect on foam, so the ideal viscosity range can be achieved by reducing or even without using thickening agent.

This product does not belong to hazardous goods and is not flammable.  

Store sealed in a cool, ventilated and dry indoor place.
