Q4 - Whatever it takes!

Q4 - Whatever it takes! was founded by educator/songwriter, Linda Quiroz. Ms. Quiroz has 35 years of experience in education and has written more than 200 songs with an academic focus. Selections are offered in English and Spanish. Recently Ms. Quirozs music was published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in the Texas Reading Series, Texas Journeys and Texas Senderos. Q4 is introducing a new line of products this Fall of 2010 titled, Bubbles / Burbujas. The books and CDs are being printed and manufactured in the Dallas metroplex. At this point, production is minimal at approximately 2000 pieces per order on books, flipcharts and cds. However, due to the exposure projected from the release of the publishers reading series mentioned above, there will be nearly 500 school districts receiving Ms. Quirozs music - or approximately 48% of Texas classrooms in grades K-5. This release will provide a tremendous increase in exposure for Q4 products and Ms. Quiroz as a trainer/presenter, hopefully increasing sales substantially.The series was compiled to include songs for reading and language arts in critical skills and concepts set as standards by state and national education entities. The songs are catchy and help students acquire skills and develop concepts through the medium of music. Areas of academic focus include, the alphabet, vowels, consonants, nouns, verbs, phonics rules, punctuation rules and difficult concepts such as cause and effect, similarities and differences and inferences. Ms. Quiroz is well known throughout the Southwest region of the USA and presents at state and national conference routinely.
