Coin Counting Machine

RFQ Description

I am looking for a machine (the “Unit”) to meet the following specifications: allow user to insert bulk quantity of coins, count the coins and securely store the coins between pick-ups. Please see the component list below. Essentially, the Unit will be comparable to this type of kiosk. The quoted Unit will likely include the same components as the kiosk above (coin counting device, keypad, touchscreen, etc). However, depending on the components available for use in the Unit, I understand appearances and sizes may be different. Components: 1 Industrial PC System • PC specs must be configured to work with all other components • Operating system must be Windows 8.1 or newer, Windows 10 is preferable. 2 Touch Screen Monitor • Size 21.5” 3 Barcode/QR Scanner Standard 1D & 2D barcode reader, QR code reader 4 Driver’s License and ID Scanner The ID scanners capture information from ID cards and input the user information into a database. (If available) 5 Receipt Printer 6 Small Speaker 7 Power Supply 8 Coin Hopper/Validator • This component will allow the customer to drop bulk amounts of coins and count them for the customer. • This component should accept the six USD coins: Ask Buyer Coin, Ask Buyer Coin, Quarter (Ask Buyer), Dime (Ask Buyer), Nickel (Ask Buyer), Penny (Ask Buyer). • Bulk coin capacity • Minimum seven (7) coins per second counting speed 9 Storage Bin/Chest • Removable storage bin to store coins between pick-ups • Ideally storage would be about 10,000 coins • Minimum 7,000 coin storage 10 Cabinet Shell Secure, temp resistant, rust-proof, waterproof, durable, anticorrosion, neat power supply and communication lines, etc.
