RFQ Description

Copper Cathode Procedure COMMODITY – UP DATA: 1. Commodity: Electrolytic Copper Cathode plates 'Grade A' 'Non-LME'. 2. Shape / Size: 125 Kg/plates of Cu. 3. Fineness/Purity: 99,97 % - 99,99 % 4. Quantity: To be confirmed by buyer, with possibility of rolls and extensions. 5. Initial Tranche Size (Trial Shipment) 500 MT. 6. Seller Country: To be confirmed 7. Country of Origin: DRC, Zambia. 8. Loading Port: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania 9. Country/Port of destination: To be confirmed 10. Purchase Price: CIF between -16% and 18% LME per MT. It will depend of available seller. 11. Payment: In USD by MT103 within 5 days after arrival at Buyer's Port and positive inspection by SGS. 12. Payment Guarantee: By an Irrevocable, Non-Transferable, Non- Operative, Non Divisible, Confirmed DLC/LC (MT700). 13. Performance Bond: 2% provided by the seller against MT700. 14. Inspection: By SGS. (SGS: General Society of Surveillance). 15. Insurance: 110% provided by the seller against all risks. 16. Procedures: a) Buyer issues LOI or ICPO addressed to STRATTON METALS, INC. vía Vicente Giliberti, stating exact requirements. b) Seller reviews the LOI and/or ICPO and upon acceptance and Due Diligence on the Seller, issues the Soft Corporate Offer (SCO/FCO) for the buyer to review and formally accept. c) The buyer signs and returns the signed SCO/FCO to the seller along with their full banking coordinates. d) Seller issues the Draft Contract upon acceptance of the SCO/FCO. e) After all negotiations and discussions between parties have reached a common arrangement the seller issues the final copy of the Main Contract Agreement for final signing and sealing by the buyer. After the contract is signed and sealed by both parties and all banking procedures are ready, the buyer issues an Irrevocable, Non-Transferable, Non-Operative, Non Divisible, Confirmed Documentary Letter of Credit (MT700) for the full first month's value. f) Seller issues the 2% Performance Bond towards the Buyer and other necessary documents, which automatically makes the DLC Operative. All communications will be made via tested SWIFT only between both banks. g) The delivery and shipment begins after all the procedures between parties are authorized by finalizing the contract with the specified terms and conditions. NOTE: -If Visit of buyer and inspection is required, will be done at port of loading after DLC MT700 has been verified, payable against positive SGS at port of destination, and activated with 2% Performance Bond from seller (Only for trial). -Visit of buyer and inspection could be done as well at Steinweg Warehouse (Durban, Ndola, etc, depending on seller) or afterDLC MT700 has been verified, payable against positive SGS at portof destination, and activated with 2% Performance Bond fromseller (Only for trial). -FOB at Steinweg.
