Specifications as below: 19.2.14 ELECTRICAL WATER HEATERSIndividual electrical Water heaters shall be thermal - electric, individual constructedfrom heavy guage high carbon steel tank with allaying at 2 cm CFC free compactfoam insulation between inner and outer container shall be CFC - free, flameretardant pure-foam of minimum 30 mm thickness, according to ISO - standard 3582.Internal surface to be glass lined.The water heater shall be pressurized type, horizontal type above ceiling, suitable fora working pressure of 8 bar and tested for 16 bar.The heating element constructed to BS 3456 shall be from zinc-plated, coppersheathedresistance wire, embedded conifer rod type immersion type protectedagainst stress cracking and pitting corrosion complete with thermostat of 20 Amps.Minimum rating and an additional safety temperature limiter for protecting the waterheater against over heating. The heating element shall be brazed on to a screw - onimmersion type apparatus plate.The loading of water heaters shall be 2 kW for capacities up to 50 litres and 2.5 kWfor capacities 80 and 100 litres, 240v, 50 Hz. single-phase supplies.
