The product is a small, microprocessor based, battery powered, progammable timer device, small enough to be carried in a persons shirtpocket. The device can be programmed to alert the user of appropriate appointments. The timer accommodates infinitely variable programming of the alert times, periodic repetition of the alerts, as well as a capability of staggering of the alert schedule in accordance with a prescribed schedule. The following is a non-exhaustive list of the timers features. 1. LCD graphic display with capability for large type characters, optionally illuminated2. Minimal input key configuration 3. Voice announcement of alarms and programming menus4. Voice recording of user-spoken appointments and/or other announcements5. LED indicator for alarm signal6. Vibratory indicator for alarm signal7.
