We are searching a pigment that makes Wratten 47 in accordance withattached file transmission spectrum. Wratten-numbering is establishedpractice to express the color of pigment. We have bought Kodak Wratten47B filter and made our experiment in use of that. The pigment in thefilter fitted inside of the filter frame on the surface or inside of(gelatin?). Attached is the transmission spectrum we have measure. Oursubcontractor supply for us NIR (Near Infra-Red) filter where theirNIR-pigment is put inside of polycarbonate. The effect of our productis better when we are using both NIR-pigment and Wratten 47-pigment inour filter.The specifications we know for the pigment are: Wratten 47B and RoyalBlue. The maximum wavelength (the wavelength that the filter has max.passage of light) is about 444 nm. As we know the powder ismanufacture from 4 chemical compounds.
