Dear Mr. Sankara Narayanan At the outset allow me to introduce myself, Im Ashwin Mukundan and am writing in from Mumbai, India regarding our requirement for Gypsum rocks which we are looking to Import To India The specifications of our requirement are GYPSUM:Purity: Minimum 90%Moisture: Maximum 1%Size: 0mm to 50 mm We are looking to import around 35,000 Metric Tonnes every month starting immediately and are willing to sign a contract for the same for a period of one year minimum (Except June, July August due to monsoon) This contract will be renewed at the end of 12 months Request you to please give clarification on the following points:1. Please provide us the quotation PMT FOB Oman2. Confirmation that the origin of Gypsum is from Oman. We will need certificate of origin + Test Certifications of the Mineral from Oman. 3. We would like to know which port in Oman will the mineral be loaded onto our ship 4. How long will you take to arrange for the consignment of 35,000 Metric Tonnes (If we get a go ahead how many days will he take to arrange for the consignment from the date of confirmation) 5. Confirmation of loading rate. How many days will the supplier take to load the consignment onto our ship, as our costs for the ship docking at the port will go up if the suppliers take a lot of days to load. So we need to calculate our costs accordingly6. Traft At Port7. Minimum Crane Outreach At Port8. Minimum Grab Size9. Minimum Gears Required On The Vessel I would like to Visit Oman and meet with you at your quarry / mine. We would also like you to take us to the port and explain the procedures that will be undertaken by you to load the consignment onto the ships.
