We have been asked to provide a quote to fit an IQ8 fire alarm M basic panel with an Esserbus line to 8 MCP„¢s for an airport building in the UAE.In order to give our client an accurate quote we need to know what is required to fit the alarm system.The fitting of the panel is not a problem but we would like to know the answers to the questions below so that we can quote.We intend to fit a loop of 1.5mmš€š fire rated cable what is the maximum length we can make the loop?We will be fitting 7 manual call points along the loop. How do you connect the MCP„¢s to the cable? We intend to fit 2 audible alarms, the first will be on the line between the last and second to last MCP. The second audible alarm will be on the line between the fourth and fifth MCP„¢s. How are the Audible alarms connected to the loop?Are the audible alarms also addressable or will they both sound together on this loop?We understand the MCP„¢s are addressable. How is the panel able to determine which MCP has been activated? How would it be programmed?We have read from the Specification to the system that we can branch out in spurs what is the maximum length of the spur?When the contract is signed for, we would like to purchase the system from NAFFCO. Could you give me a quote for the following Items please?1. 1 X IQ8 Control M basic version Code *******. 7 X IQ8 MCP, Red housing with glass pane Esser for outdoor panel mount Code *******. 1 X 100 meters fire rated cable 1.5mmš€š Code -The MCP„¢s may be fitted to enclosures outdoors so will need to be the panel mounting type. The MCP„¢s and the audible alarm sounders will all need to be UV resistant. Please could you also calculate the delivery cost to Dubai.Please reply quickly as the deadline is near.
