Dear ladies and gentlemen.Im looking for a manufacturer who could be able to produce a special bulb. The german word is: Bienenkorbglimmlampe, literally translated as: bee skep glow lamp.It was produced from approx. the 1930s to the 1980s by the German company Osram. During WWII, this lamp was the only one allowed to use, as it was not as bright as other light bulbs and cities were trying to hide in darkness. And it was very beautiful!-Now, the bee skep glow lamp (the german word is: Bienenkorbglimmlampe)has a E27-Socket, and the Voltage is 220 V AC/2-3 Watt (for Germany). Its nescessary to take a pre-restistor into the socket: It should be about 5000 Ohm.(!)The material of the electrodes (in form of the basket) is pure iron, and the discharge is neon (1 mbar).Sometimes there is a few Hg mixed thereby.(Its usual at the neons, but I dont really know, whether its really nescessary, because its poison!)I have some jpg.-pictures and further infos, and if you want to know about them,so let me know. But firstly I want to take this question only.-Now Im looking onto the market here in Germany, to perhaps make an effort of re-selling them here in Germany.-May be there in your country could be a manufacturerto re-create this bee skep glow lamp again?-Kind regards.G.v. Lüttichau,Germany.-
