Dear Sir:We want to start with a low volume machine in order to manufacture tear tapes. Because we are new to this, we are going to need your guidance. As of this moment for lack of experience the requirements are:1.- We will start with metallized polyester films that come in 3 cores.I am thinking of using 23 micron (92 gauge) thick polyester, what do you think, should we go thinner?2.- The material's width that we will start with will be between 6 to a maximum of 10 or 133.- I want to be able to slit the polyester with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (with it's liner).I UNDERSTAND THAT TEAR STRIP TAPES COME WITH A STICKY ADHESIVE, CAN YOU HELP US TO DO THAT?4.- The width of the tear strip tapes that we want to do will be between 1/8 to 3/2 . Do you agree with this? Does it make sense to you?5.- We will need to supply the spooling rolls to industry standards; I.D. Cores, length, etc.Hope this help you to start preparing a proposal for us. Let me know if you need additional information.Best regards,Dan LiebermanPresidentPhone in USA: 619-840-3106
