this is militia.us.com we are looking for a knife maker to make our official militia tactical operations knife. We will be offering this product for repeat sale so it will not be a one off, however quantities ordered will be small at first. We are seeking a 9-10 long, grooved, dagger style blade with a recessed blade trap and a full large tang. It needs a simple hardwood handle, but a functional demascus steel pommel on the end. We are 90% interested in function and keeping cost down, letting the beauty of the knife be its function. We do not need a fancy layered handle, expensive hardwoods or brass layering or any of that. This knives function is to save your life against another bladed opponent or in a survival situation where a rugged cutting tool is required. A good example of a similar knife would be the colt ct-8, we are looking for something similar, but more rugged, thicker and heavier yet just as balanced and fast.
