We are in the field of miniature model making making warship models of Indian Navy and others under Ministry of Defense,India.For cutting plastic we use indigenous designed cutter using Miranda hand held hack saw blade. We have to purchase full blade where the cutting edge teeth are of no use to us as we sharpen it on our own as per our requirement. One cutter of ours take one forth length of MIranda hand held hacksaw blade so we have to break new blade into 4 parts.Therefore we are looking for broken/ scrap blades which are used for metal cutting or broken in length in factory while manufacturing so that we do not have to buy new blade and break into 4 parts.This in view of cheaper blades as well as for carbon credits of using scrape and unnecessarily buying new blade and cutting into 4 parts.
